Do you ever meet a family that you could see yourself fitting right in? This family is one of those for me. Immediately drawn in with their warm welcoming smiles I was completely comfortable within minutes of being around them. Melinda, the star of this session, was just glowing the whole evening. Her uplifting spirit was contagious and I couldn't help but tell her she was beautiful a million times. :) She shined like a star!
I say it over and over, and it never gets old, I feel so completely blessed to do what I do and meet amazing families like this one. I feel so honored to be just a very small part of their journey through life and I look forward to capturing lasting memories over and over, year after year. :)
These 3 kiddos were a hoot! I laughed, played with toys, talked about their favorite things, and I may have even danced like a monkey and got the most serious face EVER rather than a smile haha but then I got a smile after she realized how crushed I was that my monkey wasn't as cool as I thought. lol I seriously LOVE kids and I always want them to know that whoever they are is who I want to see. Some warm up quicker than others, but I am always appreciative either way when I see that first real smile :) <3 these 3 awesome kids.
This adorable little family I have been anxious to meet for months :) And they are just as sweet as they are gorgeous! I may have had to work a little harder for Mr. 2 year old Mason but it was well worth the effort. I must also add that I enjoyed myself very much as we played catch, hide and seek, and chased each other during the session. I will take on any happy kid full of energy. :) Sweet little Haven couldn't be any sweeter. I think I squeezed her chunky little legs at least a dozen times haha. Sooo cute! I cannot wait to see her again for her 1 year! I have decided I am keeping this family even if they want to rid of me...they can't! lol ;)
